sundarakāṁḍa.
atha ēkōnacatvāriṁśassargaḥ

maṇiṁ datvā tataḥ sītā hanumaṁtamathāsbravīt|
abhijñānaṁ abhijñātaṁ ētat rāmasya tattvataḥ||1||
maṇiṁ tu dr̥ṣṭvā rāmō vai trayāṇāṁ saṁsmariṣyati|
vīrō jananyā mama ca rājñō daśarathasya ca||2||

sa||tataḥ maṇiṁ dattvā sītā hanumaṁtaṁ atha abravīt| ētat rāmasya abijñāta tattvataḥ abhijñānaṁ|| rāmaḥ maṇiṁ dr̥ṣṭvā trayāṇāṁ saṁsmariṣyati.| vīraḥ mama jananyā rājñaḥ daśarathasya ca||

Then she gave the jewel to Hanuman and said, ' This ornament is known to Rama very well. Seeing the jewel Rama will remember the three namely my mother, myself and the king Dasaratha '.

sa bhūyaḥ tvaṁ samutsāhē cōditō harisattama|
asmin kārya samāraṁbhē praciṁtaya yaduttaram||3||
tvamasmin kāryaniryōgē pramāṇaṁ harisattama|
hanuman yatnamāsthāya duḥkhakṣayakarō bhava||4||
tasya ciṁtayatō yatnō duḥkhakṣayakarō bhavēt|
sa tathēti pratijñāya mārutirbhīmavikramaḥ||5||
śirasā:':'vandya vaidēhīṁ gamanāyōpacakramē|

sa|| harisattama saḥ bhūyaḥ samutsāhē uditaḥ asmin kārya samāraṁbhē yaduttaraṁ tat tvaṁ praciṁtaya||harisattama asmin kāryaniyōgē tvaṁ pramāṇaṁ| hanumān yatnaṁ asthāya duḥkhakṣayakaraḥ bhava | tasya yatnaḥ ciṁtayataḥ duḥkhakṣayakaraḥ bhavēt || sa mārutiḥ bhīmavikramaḥ tathaḥ iti pratijñāya śirasā vaṁdyā vaidēhīṁ gamanāya upacakramē ||

' Oh Best of Vanaras ! You plan so that Rama is prompted with enthusiasm in this effort. In this effort you are the responsible. Oh Hanuman after taking the initiative become the reducer of sorrow. Think of the action for him so that he becomes the reducer of sorrow'. Then that Maruti, the possessor of fearsome valor, bowing his head promised saying 'So be it'. and then started on his return journey.

jñātvā saṁprasthitaṁ dēvī vānaraṁ mārutātmajam||6||
bhāṣpagadgadayā vācā maithilī vākyamabravīt|

sa|| dēvi maithili mārutātmajaṁ vānaraṁ bhāṣpagadgadaya vācā (punaḥ) vākyaṁ abravīt||

Devi Maithili again spoke to the son of wind god with a voice choked with tears.

kuśalaṁ hanumān brūyāḥ sahitau rāmalakṣmaṇau||7||
sugrīvaṁ ca sahāmātyaṁ vr̥ddhān sarvāṁśca vānarān|
brūyāstvaṁ vānaraśrēṣṭha kuśalaṁ dharmasaṁhitam||8||
yathā sa ca mahābāhuḥ māṁ tārayati rāghavaḥ|
asmāt duḥkhāṁbusaṁrōdhāt tvaṁ samādhātumarhasi||9||
jīvaṁtīṁ māṁ yathā rāmaḥ saṁbhāvayati kīrtimān|
tattathā hanumān vācyaṁ vācā dharmamavāpnuhi||10||

sa|| hanumān rāmalakṣmaṇa sahitau sugrīvaṁ ca amātyaṁ saha vr̥ddhān vānarān sarvāṁścadharmasaṁhitaṁ kuśalaṁ brūyāḥ||vānaraśrēṣṭha dharmasaṁhitaṁ kuśalaṁ brūyāḥ||tvaṁ yathā mahābāhuḥ rāghavaḥ māṁ asmāt duḥkhāṁbusaṁrōdhāt tārayati (tathā) samādhātuṁ arhasi || hanumān kīrtimān rāmaḥ jīvaṁtīṁ māṁ yathā saṁbhāvayati tat vācyaṁ tathā vācā dharmaṁ avāpnuhi ||

' Hanuman ! Communicate my welfare to Rama and Lakshmana, as also Sugriva along with all his ministers and other Vanaras. Oh Best of Vanaras convey this in a righteous manner. You may tell Rama in a way that he can help me cross the ocean of sorrow and relieve me. Oh Hanuman! Tell the words in a way that the famed Rama will take me when I am alive, then you will acquire fame'.

nityamutsāha yuktāśca vācaḥ śrutvā tvayēritāḥ|
vardhiṣyatē dāśarathēḥ pauruṣaṁ madavāptayē||11||
matsaṁdēśayutā vācastvattaḥ śrutvā ca rāghavaḥ|
parākramavithiṁ vīrō vidhivat saṁvidhāsyati||12||

sa|| tvayā īritaḥ utsāhayuktāḥ vācaḥ nityaṁ śrutvā mat avāptayē dāsarathēḥ pauruṣaṁ vardiṣyatē||vīraḥ rāmaḥ tvat mat saṁdēśayutāḥ vācaḥ śrutvā vidhivat parākramavidhiṁ saṁvidhāsyati ||

' The words spoken by you with excitement , hearing those words, Dasarathi's manliness will be increased. Oh Vira ! Rama hearing the words of my message from you will surely make the valiant efforts'.

sītāyā vacanaṁ śrutvā hanumān mārutātmajaḥ|
śirasyaṁjali māthāya vākya muttaramabravīt||13|

sa|| hanumān mārutātmajaḥ sītāyāḥ vacanaṁ śrutvā śirasya aṁjaliṁ āthāya vākyaṁ uttaraṁ abravīt ||

Hanuman, the son of the wind god, hearing those words of Sita, spoke bowing his head in reverence.

kṣipramēṣyati kākut-sthō haryr̥kṣapravarairvr̥taḥ|
yastē yudhi vijityārīn śōkaṁ vyapanayiṣyati||14||
na hi paśyāmi martyēṣu nāsurēṣu surēṣu vā|
yastasya kṣipatō bāṇān sthātu mutsahatēsgrataḥ||15||
apyarkamapi parjanyamapi vaivasvataṁ yamam|
sa hi sōḍhuṁ raṇē śaktastava hētōrviśēṣataḥ||16||
sahi sāgaraparyaṁtāṁ mahīṁ śāsitu mīhatē|
tvannimittō hi rāmasya jayō janakanaṁdini||17||

sa|| kākut-sthaḥ haryakṣu pravaraiḥ vr̥taḥ kṣipraṁ ēṣyati | yudhi arīn vijitya tē śōkaṁvyapanayiṣyati ||yaḥ bāṇān kṣipataḥ tasya agrataḥ sthātuṁ utsahatē (taṁ) martyēṣu asurēṣu vā surēṣu na paśyāmi hi ||saḥ raṇē arkamapi parjanyaṁ api vaivasvataṁ api yamaṁ viśēṣataḥ tava hētōḥ śōḍhuṁ śaktaḥ|| saḥ sāgaraparyaṁtāṁ mahīṁ śāsituṁ arhati hi | janakanaṁdini rāmasya jayaḥ tvannimittaḥ hi||

' The Kakutstha surrounded by the best of Vanaras and bears will come here. Defeating the enemies in the war he will relieve you of your sorrows. I do not see any one among the humans, Asuras and Devas who can face Rama's arrows when released. For your sake, he is capable of defeating even the Sun, the rain god, Vaivasvata or Yama in the war, He deserves to rule the whole earth like a king. Oh Janaka's daughter ! Rama's victory is for your benefit only.'

tasya tadvacanaṁ śrutvā samyaksatyaṁ subhāṣitam|
jānakī bahu mēna:'tha vacanaṁ cēda mabravīt||18||
tatastaṁ prasthitaṁ sītā vīkṣamāṇā punaḥ punaḥ|
bhartr̥ snēhānvitaṁ vākyaṁ sauhārdādanvamānayat||19||

sa|| jānakī tasya satyaṁ samyak subhāṣitaṁ tat vacanaṁ śrutvā bahumēnē atha idaṁ vacanaṁ ca abravīt ||tataḥ sītā prasthitaṁ taṁ punaḥ punaḥ vīkṣamāṇā bhartr̥snēhānvitaṁ vākyaṁ sauhārdāt anumānayat ||

Janaki hearing the truthful proper good words of the one she held in great esteem she spoke the following words. Sita then looked again and again at the one ready to start. She made him understand the words conveying her love.

yadivā manyasē vīra vasaikāha mariṁdama|
kasmiṁścitsaṁvr̥tē dēśē viśrāṁtaḥ śvō gamiṣyasi||20||
mamacēdalpabhāgyāyāḥ sānidhyāttava vānara|
asya śōkasya mahatō muhūrtaṁ mōkṣaṇaṁ bhavēt||21||
gatē hi hariśārdūla punarāgamānāya tu|
prāṇānā mapi saṁdēhō mamasyānnatra saṁśayaḥ||22||

sa|| vīra ariṁdama manyasē yadi kasmiṁścit saṁvr̥tē dēśē ēkāhaṁ vasa | viśrāṁtaḥ svaḥ gamiṣyasi||vānara tava sānnidhyāt alpabhāgyāyāḥ mama mahat asya śōkasya muhūrtaṁ mōkṣaṇaṁ bhavēt cēt ||hariśārdūla punarāgamanāya gatē mama prāṇānāṁ apisaṁdēhaḥ syāt | atra saṁdēhaḥ na ||

' Oh Destroyer of enemies ! If you think it is appropriate, stay at a closed place for a day. Thus rested go tomorrow. Oh Vanara ! Your presence will provide even a moments relief to this unlucky one in great sorrow. Oh Best of Vanaras ! After you go my life is in doubt till you return. There is no doubt' .

tavā darśanajaḥ śōkō bhūyō māṁ paritāpayēt|
duḥkhā duḥkhaparāmr̥ṣṭāṁ dīpayanniva vānara||23||
ayaṁ ca vīra saṁdēhāḥ tiṣṭatīva mamāgrataḥ|
sumahāṁ stvatsahāyēṣu haryr̥kṣēṣu harīśvara||24||
kathaṁ nu khalu duṣpāraṁ tariṣyaṁti mahōdadhim|
tāni haryr̥kṣasainyāni tau vā naravarātmajau||25||
trayāṇāmēva bhūtānāṁ sāgarasyāsya laṁghanē|
śaktissyāt vainatēyasya tava vā mārutasya vā||26||

sa|| vānara duḥkhāt dukhaparāmr̥ṣṭāṁ mām tava adarśanajaḥ śōkaḥ dīpayan iva bhūyaḥ paritāpayēt ||vīra harīśvaratvat sahāyēṣu haryakṣēṣu ayaṁ sumahān saṁdēhaḥ mama agrataḥ tiṣṭhatīva||tāni haryakṣu sainyāni tau vānarātmajau duṣpāraṁ mahōdadhiṁ kathaṁ nu tariṣyaṁti khalu||asya sāgarasya laṁghanē bhūtānāṁ tava vā vainatēyasya vā mārutasya śaktiḥ syāt ||

' Oh Vanara ! Not seeing you will increase the agony in the one already agonized. It will inflame my sorrow and again trouble me. Oh Best of Vanaras, at the outset a great doubt dwells in my mind about your helpers like Vanaras and bears . That army of Vanaras and bears and the two princes, how can they cross ocean which is difficult to cross. Only three have the capability to cross this ocean namely you, Vainateya or the wind god '.

tadasmin kārya niryōgē vīraivaṁ duratikramē|
kiṁ paśyasi samādhānaṁ tvaṁ hi kāryavidāṁ varaḥ||27||
kāmamasya tvamēvaikaḥ kāryasya parisādhanē|
paryāptaḥ paravīraghna yaśasya stē phalōdayaḥ||28||

sa|| vīraṁ tat ēvaṁ duratikramē asmin kāryaniryōgē kiṁ samādhānaṁ paśyasi | tvaṁ kāryavidāṁ varaḥ hi ||paravīraghna asya kāryasya parisādhanē tvaṁ ēka ēva paryāptaḥ kāmaṁ tē phalōdayaḥ yaśasyaḥ||

' Oh Hero , in order to achieve this very difficult task, what means do you see. You are the best among those who are capable. Oh Slayer of enemy ! To accomplish this task only you are capable. The fruit of this accomplishment is yours only '.

balaiḥ samagraiḥ yadi māṁ rāvaṇaṁ jitya saṁyugē|
vijayī svapuraṁ yāyāttattu mē syāt yaśaskaram||29||
śaraistu saṁkulāṁ kr̥tvā laṁkā parabalārdanaḥ|
māṁ nayēdyadi kākut-sthaḥ tata tasya sadr̥śaṁ bhavēt||30||
tadyathā tasya vikrāṁtamanurūpaṁ mahātmanaḥ|
bhavēdāvahaśūrasya tathā tvamupapādaya||31||

sa|| saṁyugē samagraiḥ balaḥ rāvaṇaṁ jitya māṁ vijayī svapuraṁ yayāt yadi tat tasya sadr̥śaṁ bhavēt ||parabalārdanaḥ kākut-sthaḥ laṁkāṁ śaraiḥ saṁkulaṁ kr̥tvā mām nayēt yadi tat tasya sadr̥śaṁ bhavēt ||tat mahātmanaḥ āhavaśūrasya tasya anurūpaṁ vikrāṁtaṁ yathā bhavēt tathā tvaṁ upapādaya ||

' In this war if Rama emerges victorious winning over Ravana along with his army and takes me home that is worthy of him. The Slayer of enemy , Kakutstha, if he fills the entire Lanka with his arrows and takes me then that will be worthy of him. You propose a way of achieving victory which is worthy of the great self, the hero of the war'.

tadarthōpahitaṁ vākyaṁ sahitaṁ hētusaṁhitam|
niśamya hanumān śēṣaṁ vākyamuttaramabravīt||32||

sa|| hanumān arthōpahitaṁ praśritaṁ hētusaṁhitaṁ tat vākyaṁ niśamya śēṣaṁ vākyaṁ abravīt uttaraṁ||

Hanuman , having heard the meaningful courteous logical words and the rest then replied.

dēvī haryr̥kṣasainyānāṁ īśvaraḥ plavatāṁ varaḥ|
sugrīvaḥ sattvasaṁpannaḥ tavārthē kr̥taniścayaḥ||33||
sa vānara sahasrāṇāṁ kōṭibhirabhisaṁvr̥taḥ|
kṣipramēṣyati vaidēhi rākṣasānāṁ nibarhaṇaḥ||34||
tasya vikramasaṁpannāḥ sattvavaṁtō mahābalāḥ|
manaḥ saṁkalpasaṁpātā nidēśē harayaḥ sthitāḥ||35||
yēṣāṁ nōpari nādhastān natiryaksajjatē gatiḥ|
na ca karmasu sīdaṁti mahatsvamita tējasaḥ||36||

sa|| dēvī haryakṣu sainyānāṁ īśvaraḥ plavatāṁ varaḥ sattvasaṁpannaḥ sugrīvaḥ tava arthē kr̥taniścayaḥ||vaidēhi saḥ vānarasahasrāṇāṁ kōṭibhiḥ abhisaṁvr̥taḥ rākṣasānāṁ nibarhanaḥ kṣipraṁ ēṣyati ||vikramasaṁpannāḥ sattvavaṁtaḥ mahābalāḥ manaḥ saṁkalpasaṁpātāḥ harayaḥ tasya nidēśē sthitāḥ||yēṣāṁ gatiḥ upari na sajjatē adhastāt na tiryak na amita tējasaḥ mahatsu karmasu nasīdaṁti ||

' Oh Devi ! Sugriva , the lord of the army of Vanaras, the foremost among the Vanaras, he is determined to accomplish the task for your sake. Oh Vaidehi ! Sugriva along with thousands of crores of Vanaras will reach and destroy all the Rakshasas. Powerful virtuous mighty Vanaras who can leap with speed of mind are at his command awaiting. Their movement cannot be impeded upwards downwards or horizontally. Being brilliant they do not fail in any given task'.

asakr̥tairmahōtsāhaiḥ sa sāgaradharāharā|
pradakṣiṇīkr̥tā bhūmiḥ vāyumārgānusāribhiḥ||37||
madviśiṣṭhāśca tulyāśca saṁti tatra vanaukasaḥ|
mattaḥ pratyavaraḥ kaścinnāsti sugrīva sannidhau||38||
ahaṁ tāvadiha prāptaḥ kiṁpunastē mahābalāḥ|
na hi prakr̥ṣṭāḥ prēṣyaṁtē prēṣyaṁtē hītarē janāḥ||39||

sa|| mahōtsāhaiḥ vāyumārgānusāribhiḥ taiḥ asakr̥t sasāgaradharādharā bhūmiḥ pradakṣiṇīkr̥tāḥ||tatra sugrīva sannidhau mat viśiṣṭhāśca tulyāḥ ca vanaukasaḥ saṁti|| mattaḥ pratyavaraḥ kaścit nāsti || ahaṁ tāvat iha anuprāptaḥ mahabalāḥ tē kiṁ punaḥ | prakr̥ṣṭāḥ na prēṣyaṁtē hi itarē janāḥ prēṣyaṁtē hi||

' Very enthusiastic ( Vanaras) following the aerial path they repeatedly go around the earth with all its oceans. In Sugriva's court there are Vanaras who are better than me and equal to me. There is none who is inferior to me. As I have reached here, so will the other more powerful ones. Oh Devi ! The best ones are not sent out for these tasks. Only the other ordinary ones will be sent.'

tadalaṁ paritāpēna dēvi śōkōvyapaitu tē|
ēkōtpātēna tē laṁkāmēṣyaṁti hariyūthapāḥ||40||
mamapr̥ṣṭhagatau tau caṁdra sūryāvivōdi tau|
tvatsakāśaṁ mahāsattvau nr̥śiṁhāvāgamiṣyataḥ|| 41||
tau hi vīrau naravarau sahitau rāmalakṣmaṇau|
āgamya nagarīṁ laṁkāṁ sāyakairvidhamiṣyataḥ||42||

sa|| dēvi tat alaṁ paritāpēna | tē śōkaḥ vyapaitu | tē hariyūthapāḥ ēkōtpātēna laṁkāṁ ēṣyaṁti ||mahasattvau nr̥siṁhau tau ca mama pr̥ṣṭhagatau uditau caṁdrasūrya iva tvatsakāsaṁ abhigamiṣyataḥ||tataḥ vīrau naravarau rāmalakṣmaṇau sahitau āgamya laṁkāṁ nagarīṁ sāyakaiḥ vidhamiṣyataḥ||

' Oh Devi ! Enough of sorrow. Give up your sorrow. The Vanara army will reach Lanka in one jump. Both the great men, who are like lion among men , sitting on my back looking like Sun and moon will come to your presence. Then Rama and Lakshmana, the two heroes and the best among men having come will destroy city of Lanka with their arrows'.

sagaṇaṁ rāvaṇaṁ hatvā rāghavō raghunaṁdanaḥ|
tvā mādāya varārōhē svapuraṁ prati yāsyati||43||
tadāśvasihi bhadraṁ tē bhava tvaṁ kālakāṁkṣiṇī|
na cirāt drakṣyasē rāmaṁ prajvalaṁta mivālanam||44||
nihatē rākṣasēṁdrēssmin saputrāmātyabāṁdhavē|
tvaṁ samēṣyasi rāmēṇa śaśāṁkēnēva rōhiṇī||45||
kṣipraṁ tvaṁ dēvi śōkasya pāraṁ yāsyasi maithili|
rāvaṇaṁ caiva rāmēṇa nihataṁ drakṣyasēscirāt||46||

sa|| raghunaṁdanaḥ rāghavaḥ rāvaṇaṁ sagaṇaṁ hatvā tvāṁ ādāya svapuraṁ prati yāsyati ||tat āśvāsihi | tē bhadraṁ| tvaṁ kālakāṁkṣinī bhava| prajvalaṁtaṁ analaṁ iva rāmaṁ na cirāt drakṣyasē||asmin saputrabāṁdhavē rākṣasēṁdrē nihatē tvaṁ rōhiṇī śaśāṁkēn iva rāmēṇa samēṣyasi||dēvi maithilī tvaṁ kṣipraṁ śōkasya pāraṁ yāsyasi | acirāt rāmēṇa rāvaṇaṁ nihataṁ ca drakṣyasi ||

' The scion of Raghu , Raghava having killed Ravana along with his tribe, will return with you back to his city. That you be rest assured. Let auspicious things happen. You may count your time. You will soon see Rama burning with anger like fire. With the lord of Rakshasas killed along with his sons and relatives , you will reunite with Rama, like Rohini uniting with moon. Oh Devi ! Maithili you will soon go to the other shore of sorrow. Soon you will see Ravana killed by Rama.

ēva māśvāsya vaidēhīṁ hanumān mārutātmajaḥ|
gamanāya matiṁ kr̥tvā vaidēhīṁ punarabravīt||47||

sa|| hanumān mārutātmajaḥ vaidēhīṁ ēvaṁ āśvāsya gamanāya matiṁ kr̥tvā vaidēhīṁ punaḥ abravīt ||

Hanuman, the son of wind god, having thus assured Vaidehi, getting ready for return, spoke to Vaidehi again.

tamarighnaṁ kr̥tātmānaṁ kṣipraṁ drakṣyasi rāghavaṁ|
lakṣmaṇaṁ ca dhanuṣpāṇiṁ laṁkādvāramupasthitam||48||
nakhadaṁṣṭrāyudhān vīrān siṁhaśārdūlavikramān|
vānarān vānaranēṁdrābhān kṣipraṁ drakṣyasi saṁgatān||49||
śailāṁbudanikāśānāṁ laṁkāmalayasānuṣu|
nardatāṁ kapimukhyānāṁ āryē yūthān anēkaśaḥ||50||

sa|| laṁkādvāramupāsthitaṁ arighnaṁ kr̥tātmānaṁ taṁ rāghavaṁ dhanuṣpāṇiṁ lakṣmanaṁ ca kṣipraṁ drakṣyasi||nakhadaṁṣṭrāyudhān vīrān siṁhaśārdūlavikramān vāraṇēṁdrābhān saṁgatān vānarān kṣipraṁ drakṣyasi||āryē śailāṁbudanikāsānāṁ nardatāṁ kapimukhyānāṁ anēkaśaḥ yūdhāni laṁkāmalayamānuṣu (drakṣyasi)||

' Very soon you would see the accomplished slayer of foes , the accomplished wielder of bow, Rama along with Lakshmana at the door of Lanka. You will soon see heroes whose teeth and nails are their weapons, resembling tigers and lions in valor, also resembling well-bred elephants. Oh Noble lady you will see roaring Vanara chiefs who resemble clouds roaring and hovering over the mountain peaks around Lanka.

sa tu marmaṇi ghōrēṇa tāḍitō manmathēṣuṇā|
naśrama labhatē rāmaḥ siṁhārdita ivadvipaḥ||51||
mārudō dēvī śōkēna mābhūttē manasōspriyaṁ|
śacīva patyā śakrēṇa bhartrā nāthavatī hyasi||52||
rāmādviśiṣṭhaḥ kō:'nyō:'sti kaścit saumitriṇā samaḥ|
agnimārutakalpau tau bhrātarau tava saṁśrayau||53||

sa|| saḥ rāmaḥ ghōrēna manmathēṣuṇā marmaṇi tāḍitaḥ siṁhārditaḥ dvipaḥ iva na śarma labhatē||dēvi śōkēna mārudaḥ | tē manasaḥ apriyaṁ mābhūt | patyā śakrēṇa śacī iva nāthavatī asi hi ||rāmāt viśiṣṭhaḥ anyaḥ kaḥ asti| saumitriṇā samaḥ kaścit | agnimārutakalpau tau bhrātarau tava saṁśrayau||

' Rama is tormented by the dreadful arrows of god of love pierced into vitals like an elephant hit by lion. He has no happiness in life. Oh Devi ! Do not weep in sorrow. Let your mind be not unpleasant. You have a great husband just as Sachi has her Lord in Indra. Who is superior to Rama. Who is equal to Lakshmana. Both the brothers are like fire and wind. They are your refuge'.

nāsmiṁ ściraṁ vatsyasi dēvi dēśē
rakṣōgaṇairadhyuṣitēsti raudrē|
na tē cirādāgamanaṁ priyasya
kṣamasva matsaṁgamakālamātram||54||

sa|| dēvi rakṣōgaṇaiḥ adhyuṣitē atiraudrau asmin dēśē ciraṁ na vatsyasi |tē priyasya āgamanaṁ na cirāt | matsaṁgamakālamātraṁ kṣamasva||

' Noble lady you will not stay any longer in this dreadful place which is a stronghold of Rakshasas. Your beloved is coming very soon. For this period bear with me'.
