Sundarakanda
Sarga 44
This Sarga starts with, "संदिष्टो राक्षसेंद्रेण", meaning that ordered by the king of Rakshasas, Ravana left for the battle, and ends with the line, "पपात निहतौ भूमौ". It means that ,-"Being killed fell on the ground." That summarizes the story of the forty-fourth Sarga.

स॥ अर्थ चंद्रेण वदने एकेन कर्णिना शिरसि दशाभिः नाराचैः बाह्वोः तं कपीश्वरं विव्याथ॥
