This week the Bhagavatam story continues with the Chapter 27.

Krishna being referred to as Govinda for the first time comes in this chapter .

After Krishna Lifted Govardhan mountain and provided protective shelter to all in Vraja, Lord Indra realized his limitations. Stripped off his pride by Krishna, Indra seeks Krishna's forgiveness. Recognizing Krishna's favor to Gopas and his attachment to Cows, Surabhi the mother of all cows, went from the world of Cows with instruction from Brahma to anoint Krishna as Govinda. That is apparently the first referenceof Krishna as Govinda and this comes out of Bhagavatam
