This issue updates the Ramayanam and Bhagavatam sections.

Bhagavatam continues with the Chapter 5 of Dasama Skandha. Chapter 5 describes the celebrations in Gokul on the birth of Krishna !. Incidentally this week we will also be celebrating the "Janmashtami". The chapter 5 has a very insightful sloka presented at the top of the chapter . It says "wealth is purified by charity ". In the olden days there were purification processes for every activity . Obviously earning wealth is part of the life style. They aptly stated that "wealth is purified by charity", meaning there by that wealth with unbounded greed is not the recommended style. It is a statement accepted world over. In fact we see more examples of wealth funneled through to charity in the western world like the Gates Foundation . An even more insightful statement is that the "Mind gets purified by satisfaction".

As part of Ramayanam, the part three of "Sankshipta Sundarakanda" by Pandit Vijayraghavrao continues. This issue covers the Chapters 15 to 24 of Valmiki Sundarakanda and is titled "Sita-Ravana samvadamu ". The coming issue will cover " , "Trijata Svapnamu".
