Viveka Chudamani Slokas 254 - 255

Sloka 254

निद्राकल्पित देशकालविषयज्ञात्रादि  सर्वं यथा
मिथ्या तद्वदिहापि जाग्रति जगत् स्वाज्ञानकार्यत्वतः।
यस्मात् एवमिदं शरीरकरणप्राणाहमाद्यप्यसत्
तस्मात् तत्त्वमसि प्रशान्त ममलं ब्रह्माद्वयं यत् परम् ॥

1 निद्राकल्पित देशकालविषयज्ञात्रादि  सर्वं यथा -
just as all of the projection seen the dream, namely the place, the time, the objects , are unreal  

2 तद्वदिहापि जाग्रति जगत् स्वाज्ञानकार्यत्वतः।
   तद्वत् इहा जाग्रति अपि -
   similarly in this waking state
   जगत् स्व अज्ञानकार्यत्वतः -
   that universe we see being the effect of our own ignorance
   ( implieds that it is unreal)
 
   Similarly in this waking state that universe we see being the effect of our own ignorance (implies that it is also unreal)

3 यस्मात् एवमिदं शरीरकरणप्राणाहमाद्यप्यसत्
  
   यस्मात् एवं इदं -
   because of which reason this (universe is unreal)
   शरीरकरणप्राणाहमाद्यपि - शरीर करण प्राण अहम् महत् अपि असत्,
   this body of organs functiong in it , the Prana, the ego etc too are unreal


4 तस्मात् तत्त्वमसि प्रशान्त ममलं ब्रह्माद्वयं यत् परम् ॥
 
    तस्मात् -hence
    प्रशान्त ममलं ब्रह्माद्वयं यत् परम्  -
    that which is peaceful , untainted by ignorance, that Supreme brahman with a second
    तत् त्वं असि - "that thou art"


Sloka summary:

Just as all of the projection in the dream, the place, the time, the objects , is unreal, similarly in this waking state that universe we see being the effect of our own ignorance (implies that it is unreal)

Because of which reason this (universe is unreal), this body of organs functiong in it , the Prana, the ego etc too are unreal.

Sloka 254:

जाति नीति कुलगोत्र दूरगं
नाम रूप गुण दोष वर्जितम्।
देशकालविषयातिवर्तियत्
ब्रह्म तत्वमसि भावयात्मनि॥


जाति नीति कुलगोत्र दूरगं  -
beyond caste, creed, family and lineage

नाम रूप गुण दोष वर्जितम्।-
without name form and merit and demerit

देश काल विषय अतिवर्ति -
transcending space , time, and sense objects

यत् ब्रह्म तत्वमसि भावयात्मनि॥
यत् ब्रह्म तत् त्वं असि भावय आत्मनि
"that Brahman you are"; meditate on this in depths of your mind.

Sloka summary 254:

"Beyond caste, creed, family and lineage; without name form and merit and demerit; transcending space , time, and sense objects ;"you are that Brahman"; meditate on this in depths of your mind".
