Slokas 284-286 with meanings in English
||om tat sat ||
Viveka Chudamani Slokas 284-286:
स्व अध्यास अपनयं कुरु - get rid of your super
impositions , with that as the goal Guru
continues his teaching to the disciple on how one
may get rid of the super impositions on one self .
The point Guru makes in 282 is that knowing that the
self in you is same as the Self in all, get rid of
your super imposition. The second point Guru
makes in 283 is that just as how the sages, focussed
on the Supreme being, are free from the focus on the
acts of consuming and rejecting too, the mumukshu
also should have singular focus on the Supreme being
and thus get rid of his super impositions.
