Viveka Chudamani Slokas  367-370:

Stating "निर्विकल्पक समाधिना स्फुटं" - that in Nirvikalpa Samadhi the true form of Brahman becomes crystal clear, Guru makes it clear that only through Nirvikalpa Samadhi one attains Brahman. Here in the following four Slokas Guru focusses on how one may reach that state of yoga, namely Nirvikalpa Samadhi.

Sloka 367

therefore with senses under control;
निरन्तरम् शान्तमनाः -
with an ever quietened mind;
समाधत्स्व प्रतीचि -
rest the mind in Pratyagatman;

Here Guru is starting us on the path to that Supreme state of Meditation, namely Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Why Nirvikalpa Samadhi is clear from previous Sloka. That is because in Nirvikalpa Samadhi alone the true form of Supreme Brahman is realised. With that back ground Guru starts saying "therefore" ; In order to reach that state of yoga, there fore he says -  with senses under control, with an ever quietened mind, rest the mind in Pratyagatman.

With mind fixed in Pratyagatman one focusses on that brahman without a second;

3&4 stanzas
विध्वंसय - destroy;
अनाद्य अविद्यया कृतं द्वान्तं -
darkness created by the begining less avidya or ignorance;
सदेकत्व विलोकनेन -
by realizing the identity of reality;

"destroy the darkness created by the begining-less avidya or ignorance by realizing the identity of reality;

Effectively the difficult process of reaching that supreme state of Yoga , is being stated in simple words - with senses under control, with an ever quietened mind, rest the mind in Pratyagatman. With mind fixed in Pratyagatman one focusses on that brahman without a second, destroy the darkness created by the begining-less avidya or ignorance, by realizing the identity of reality;

In Nirvikalpa samadhi - that supreme state of meditation on the - Guru said that the true nature of Supreme Brahman is realized without any effort. Realization of Brahman is understanding on the non duality of Brahman which permeates everything. With that knowledge Guru is saying destoy darkness created by ignorance

Sloka summary 367 :

Therefore with senses under control; with an ever quietened mind; rest the mind in Pratyagatman. Then by realizing the identity of reality, destroy the darkness created by the begining less avidya or ignorance

Having stated the need of that Supreme state of Yoga, Guru now focusses on the first steps that lead to that state.

Sloka 368

Let that be restrained in Atman which is of the nature of peace". What is stated here is same as that is stated in Kathopanishad.
