King Ravana ever capable of overcoming all enemies having spoken to the princess of Mithila thus, ordered the Rakshasa women and left the place. As soon as Ravana left for his harem, the ferocious looking Rakshasa women surrounded Sita.

They approached Sita and started speaking with her in anger.

"Oh Sita Ravana was born in the line of Pulastya. he is a great man. Why do you not realize becoming his wife is an honor

Then a Rakshasa woman by name Ekajata spoke to Sita " among the six Prajapatis , Pulastya is the fourth one and is well know as the " Manasaputra of Brahma" The Sage Visravas is the "Manasaputra of Pulastya". He equals Brahma in his valor. Ravana is the son of that sage Pulastya. You are fit to his wife. Oh Beautiful lady listen to my words I am saying this considering your own interest".

Then one Rakshasa woman by name Harita told Sita " Thirty three devas including kings of devas Indra were defeated by Ravana. You are fit to be his wife. Ravan has valor which one can be proud of. He is a great warrior. He is one who will not look back in a battle field. Why do you not agree to become his wife? ".

Then another Rakshasa woman by name Praghasa spoke to Sita . " Oh Sita ! Mandodari, the most beautiful among all women is his Queen. Though he loves her very much and respects her , the king Ravan is wanting to marry you and make you his queen !".

Then a Rakshasa woman by name Vikata told Sita the following . " Oh Sita Ravan has defeated Devas , Gandharvas , Nagas and Danavas several times. He is anxious to be by your side . Why are you not interested?" . Then a Rakshasa woman by name Durmukhi said " Oh Sita even the Sun being afraid of Ravana will not shine brightly , the Wind god does not move freely without the permission of the King Ravana. Why do you not join him . Oh lady with a smile ! we are saying all this considering your welfare. Do listen to my words otherwise you will not be left alive "
