As usal this issue updates the Ramayanam and Bhagavatam sections.
Bhagavatam continues with the Chapter 7 of Dasama Skandha. Chapter 6 is the beginning of a series of interesting stories of Krishna's exploits as a child. After Putanas salvation in chapter 6 , chapter 7 continues with the Story of Sakatasura and Trinavarta. Trinavarta is the story of an demon sent by King Kamsa to carry away Krishna. We can be sure of the end result . The evil ones can never succeed !. The unbelieving mother Yashoda gets the first indications of divinity of Krishna. She sees the universe in the mouth of the baby. Yet she remains a mother attributing what she has seen to other issues.
As part of Ramayanam, the part five of "Sankshipta Sundarakanda" by Pandit Vijayraghavrao continues. This issue covers the Chapters 28 to 37 of Valmiki Sundarakanda and is titled "Sita- hanumamtula sambhaashana ". The coming issue will conclude the "Sita- hanumamtula sambhaashana ".
The Editor of "One more thing' is on vacation , so we continue the sumati satakam couplet of last week .
