Chapter 47: Summary :

Hearing about the death of the Five generals Virupaksha, Rupaksha, Durdhara, Praghasa and Bhasakarna Ravana sends his son Akshaya kumara to battle Hanuman. Hanuman was captivated by the capability of Akshayakumar but realizes that he should not allow him to grow in strength and decides to kill him. Accordingly he catches hold of Akshayakumar and destroys him with his chariot and horses. Then Hanuman again gets back to the top of the archway awaiting more forces.
