As usual this issue updates the Ramayanam and Bhagavatam sections.
Bhagavatam continues with the Chapter 8 of Dasama Skandha. Vasudev sends the yadu priest "Gargamuni" to enquire about the welfare of his two children in Gokul under the care of Nanda and Yashoda. Gargamuni visits Gokul performs the "namakarana" as requested by Maharaj Nanda. Gargamuni tells Maharaj Nanda that, "the elder boy will be known as 'Bala Rama'. The younger one will be known as 'Krishna' and will protect the Yadus". The childhood pranks of Krishna and the story of Krishna eating mud and showing universe in his mouth to a perplexed mother are part of this chapter.
As part of Ramayanam, the part six of "Sankshipta Sundarakanda" by Pandit Vijayraghavrao continues. This issue covers the Chapters 37 to 42 of Valmiki Sundarakanda and is titled "Sita - hanumantula sambhaashana". Hanuman having received the "chudaamani' from Sita as a token decides to test Ravana's strength before returning.
The Editor of "One more thing' is back , so we continue the trend of Subhaashitams.
