One more thing !
A virtual Forest.!
In our weekly Zoom for reading Sundarakanda and Viveka Chudamani, my niece had some difficulty in reading the Telugu Summary (Taatparyamu), and ultimately told me that the Sundarakanda page for Sloka and summary of Sloka (in kasarabada.org) is actually showing a Sarga summary in English, so she had to resort to other mechanisms to find Sloka summaries in Telugu.
I realized what happened in the website links and told her to change the letters 'TV' appearing at the very end in the web link to 'TTP' and you get the required page. She did and lo there it was !
Then I told her about two more such changes like, TTTP to get Telugu slokas with meanings, commentary, and summary as well as TP to get Sloka summaries in English.
Though tempted to continue elaborating, I knew at that moment if I continue in that vein, then the chat will become a classic case of big useless diversion- "రామాయణములో పిడకలవేట", so I let the chat end there;
But my interest was up and I wanted to see through all the links for a Sarga/chapter in Sundarakanda. Sure enough there were nineteen pages for every Sarga. The nineteen pages are as under:
Sundarakanda Slokas in five languages on five different pages.
(11T , S11D , S11K, S11G, S11E)
Sarga Summary in English, Sanskrit, and Telugu on three different pages (though the Sanskrit page got stopped waiting for a consultation)
11E, 11S, 11TV (3 pages)
Sarga with Sloka summaries in English
11EP /11GP / 11KP / 11TP / S11P Sloka text in EGKTD (English, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, and Devanagari ) - 5 pages
Sloka Summary in Telugu 11TTP ( 1 page)
Sloka meanings and summary with commentary in English
Tatvadipika 11MD 11ME 11MG 11MK ( 4 pages)
Tattva Dipika , Only commentary with Sarga summary and no Slokas:
Tattva Dipika 11 (in English) ( 1 page)
Telugu Tattva Dipika 11 ( 1 page)
And final magnum opus which is a combination of all above in Telugu with meanings, summary and commentary 11TTTP ( 1 page)
With nineteen web pages for every Sarga, Sundarakanda with 68 Sargas , has more than 1292 webpages for Sundarakanda, making it a virtual forest.
While this is a mind-boggling virtual forest, the easier trails have been made in the forest for user experience.
Typically, a Telugu reader has a link on the home page, in the Telugu section, directing him easily to:
సుందరకాండలో..
- శ్లోకాలు
- శ్లోక తాత్పర్యాలు
- తత్త్వదీపిక
- శ్లోకార్థతాత్పర్యతత్త్వదీపికతో;
English pages have the options listed for each Sarga :The options for multi-language script for Sanskrit are presented on each page for user choice in the link provided for Sundarakanda on the Homepage. A web page for a typical Sarga with all options would looks as under:
Sarga 11
Slokas
Prose order and meanings in English with Sloka Text.
Sarga Summary in
- English
- Sanskrit
- Telugu
Prose order and meanings in Telugu
Tattva Dipika Sarga 11 English
Tattva Dipika Sarga 11 Telugu
With 19 web pages for each Sarga, Sundarakanda with 68 Sargas has 1292 web pages. Yes, our Sundarakanda with 1292 web pages is a virtual forest , that simply grew with time !!
That reminds us about Lankini addressing Hanuman as Vanalaya, one who lives in the forest; That forest is supposed to be Brahma Vanam which is the residence of Hanuman , a Brahman himself !
